Laura Díaz de Arce is the a born and raised South Floridian. And like most South Floridians, she is the daughter of Caribbean and South American immigrants. She is the author of two short story collections; MONSTROSITY: Tales of Transformation; and In Absence. Divided into three parts--Hominum, Mutatio, and Monstrum-- the stories in MONSTROSITY explore what it means to be a monster or to be monstrous. In Absence is a surreal exploration of grief, with an ecliptic mix of genres that move the reader towards acceptance.

She is also the author of the Curse of the Nobleman Series, with Mask of the Nobleman and Hands of the Carver both available. The first two books are a fantasy romance retelling of East of the Sun, West of the Moon.

Laura has written for publications like the Book Riot, Interstellar Flight, and the Bronzeville Bee. She's had works featured in Enchanted Conversations, Beyond and Within, as well as others.
